The MCC volleyball team concludes conference and regular season play with a pair of wins over Bay College (3-0) and Alpena Community College (3-0).
Sophomore setter Shelbe Schoenborn picked up 71 assists, 5 kills, and 19 digs between the two matches.
As a team, the Jayhawks hit at a .240 clip against Bay and a season high hitting percentage of .457 against Alpena.
Freshman outside hitter, Madison Babinec led the offense with 26 kills followed by sophomore Ana Trevino with 24 kills on the weekend. Freshman Kendall Barnhart had a season high of 7 kills (.700%) against Alpena.
Freshman libero, Kaylee Balcom picked up 23 digs on the weekend and 6 service aces.
The Jayhawks finished 3rd in the conference and will travel to Port Huron, MI to compete in the Regional tournament on November 7th. The winner of the tournament will advance to the NJCAA National tournament held in Iowa.
