MCC Sweeps Delta
Jayhawks waste no time in defeating Delta.

The MCC Jayhawks hosted Delta College on Thursday, October 10th in their second meeting this year. MCC swept the Pioneers with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-13.
The offense was led by sophomore outside hitter Madisyn Dykema with 17 kills and freshman outside hitter Madison Babinec with 8 kills. Sophomore middle Ana Trevino chipped in 9 kills (.375) and sophomore middle Kayla Fisk added 6 kills (.500). Setter Shelbie Schoenborn dished out 40 assists. The team hit at a .279 hitting clip.
Sophomore, Rachel Romero led the defense with 17 digs which is good for a season high. Freshman Kaylee Balcom grabbed 16 digs. Schoenborn added 4 block assists and Trevino had 3 block assists. The team ended with 10 blocks total.
