Jayhawks lose sets 1-3 vs North Central Michigan College

The Jayhawks fell to the Timberwolves of North Central Michigan College 3-1 in their first loss in conference play this year.
MCC dropped the first 2 sets and found their lone win in the third set before losing the match in the 4th. Shelbie Schoenborn led the offense with 39 assists and picked up 6 digs.
Sophomore Madisyn Dykema led the team with 14 kills (.250%) and grabbed 2 aces. The Newaygo native, Kayla Fisk picked up 8 kills (.375%), 1 ace, and 3 block assists. Freshman, Ellerie Moy chipped in 3 kills.
MCC travels to Escanaba, MI on Friday to play Bay College and Alpena on Saturday to conclude their week. They will travel to Grand Rapids Community College on Tuesday, October 1st to take on the Raiders at 6:30pm.
