MCC Goes 3-0 Against Montcalm
Jayhawks find a way versus Montcalm

The MCC volleyball squad opened up conference play this past Tuesday by hosting the Centurions of Montcalm Community College. The Jayhawks won in three straight sets (25-22, 25-19, 26-24).
Shelbie Schoenborn led the offense with 36 assists and 7 kills (.636 hitting percentage). Sophomore, Kayla Fisk grabbed 9 kills which is good for a .353 hitting clip and had a team high of 4 aces.
Defense was spread evenly across the board with Madison Babinec and Madisyn Dykema both picking up 12 digs a piece. Babinec added 2 blocks assists as well.
The Jayhawks will travel to University Center, MI to take on the Pioneers of Delta College (7-4) in their next conference match up on Thursday, September 17th. First served is slated for 6:30pm
