Bryce Turner leads MCC
February 10, 2025
Gvsu Mike Lints Alumni Meet-
As the Jayhawks progress in the season and we inch toward the line in the sand that gets us to nationals we keep hitting stride.
On the men's side Bryce Turner (stow Ohio) broke his own school record in the 400m 48.77 and notched himself just inside the cut off barrier for the national championships. Overall on the men's side we had 8 collegiate PRs on the men's side.
"Overall I am proud of where we are at. We have overcome a significant amount of adversity with a lot of sickness throughout the program. Training has been not ideal squads have shown we can get things done. We continue to develop, learn and grow. The growth is becoming well known as our student athletes are being recruited by NAIA, NCAA D3 and NCAA D2 coaches!"
Jayhawks will be back in action Friday the 14th and Saturday the 15th at GVSU for the big meet. This is the largest indoor meet in the country featuring 4,000 student athletes competing over 2 days!
Go Jays!
