Strong Hitting Not Enough As Muskegon Community College Jayhawks Baseball Falls To Bryant & Stratton
Despite outhitting Bryant & Stratton 12-9, the Jayhawks fell 10-5 on Monday. Dayton Thomas, Bryce Luevano, Christian Kennedy, and Lawson Doyle each recorded two hits for the Jayhawks.
The Jayhawks took control in the bottom of the fourth, scoring five runs on six hits to grab a 5-3 lead. Kennedy delivered the biggest blow of the inning with a two-run single.
Joshua Wickstrom got the start on the mound, allowing eight runs on six hits over 4.1 innings while striking out four and walking four.
Kennedy led the team with two RBIs, finishing 2-for-4 at the plate. The Jayhawks also turned a double play in the game.
